Changing the public narrative about prisons, the people in them and the people coming home from them is vital to innovative justice work. To that end, INN produces award-winning media showcasing the crisis of global incarceration, including Incarceration Nations: A Global Docuseries.

INN collaborates with insitutions around the world to foster creative prison-university partnerships that leverage the power of education and nurture leaders with lived experience. Some of these programs fall under the umbrella of the the Prison-to-College Pipeline (P2CP), which Dr. Baz founded at New York’s John Jay College of Criminal Justice in 2010.

In partnership with the acclaimed visual artist Hank Willis Thomas, the nonprofit architecture firm MASS Design Group and the production team Openbox, INN’s art installation The Writing on the Wall is a pop-up art installation made from writing by people in prison around the world.

Creative, artistic, media-friendly global events allow INN to reach the full range of justice stakeholders, from academics and policymakers to directly impacted communities, influencers and artists.
